The colours complemented each other while providing a subtle contrast, but, more importantly, they reflected all the light from the newly fitted French-doors with sidelights
The French-doors also gave a stunning view to the garden from the new centre island. Karndean grey Limed Oak flooring completed the look and delivered a great sense of space with a warm, cosy feel.
Each area of the kitchen now also serves a dedicated function. The island area is perfect for washing/preparing food and entertaining. The oven and hob area – the kitchen’s focal point – is for cooking.
While the tall bank of units offer copious amounts of storage and feature recessed LED lights installed into a span shelf.
The room needed to work in a way which it hadn’t previously.
As well as the lighting, the flow of the room and the fact that it needed to fulfil a number of different functions became the focus.
A neutral colour scheme was chosen for the worktops and doors and combined with small chrome knob handles to give a luxurious feel. Porcelain Oak-effect units in a modern Shaker design were combined with quartz, marbled white, work surfaces.
