As well as the lighting, the flow of the room and the fact that it needed to fulfil a number of different functions became the focus.
A neutral colour scheme was chosen for the worktops and doors and combined with small chrome knob handles to give a luxurious feel. Porcelain Oak-effect units in a modern Shaker design were combined with quartz, marbled white, work surfaces.
